Fish Market

Add: 1) Wulumuqi Lu, between Huaihai Lu and Wuyuan Lu (乌鲁木齐路)

Very good fresh fish on ground floor also fruit and vegetable market on first floor.

         2) Tongchuan Lu, near Zhenbei Lu (铜川路)

Large choice of fish and especially live shrimps and scallops, salmon. Don't be put off by the smell but check the freshness.

Ground floor: fish, turtles, frogs, fruit and meats.

First Floor: live chicken and ducks can be selected and defeathered, provision shop, vegetables.

There's also a nice repair shop. One of the corners is a meeting point for mahjong players.

This market is located in the old city area of the Yu Garden (from Renmin Lu to Henan Lu). Antiques and curios, old watches, brushes for calligraphy. Bargaining is important. 3 storeys white building, close to Henan Lu, offers a nice choice of boxes and porcelain.
